Information Collection and Use 

Soremi Corporation (hereafter known as "Provider") is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Provider collects information from our users at several different points on our website. 

Our Commitment to Your Privacy and Security 

Provider places great value on the privacy of members. We care about the privacy of your personal and emergency information submitted to us. We are committed to the privacy of our visitors and members. Other than basic registration information, all information submitted by our members to our web site is voluntary. We ensure that all information submitted remains confidential and secure and used only for its authorized purpose. We will not sell or rent your information to anyone. We know that your information is highly confidential. 

Provider stores members personal and emergency information in a secure location using state-of-the-art technology. Emergency information is available to anyone who has access to your username, IPIN and TPIN, in the event of an emergency. Provider employs security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. In addition, we use industry standard SSL technology to ensure that the data is encrypted during transmission. 

Registration 

In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information. This information may be used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. 

Log Files 

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. 

Sharing 

We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services. 

Release of Information 

SoremiAlert's registration requires prospective members to enter specific information to include: name, address, email address, mobile, country of residence, preferred username and password. Once a person becomes member, additional personal and emergency information may be added by the member. All members can update and modify their emergency information using their username and password. 

SoremiAlert does not release personal or emergency information to anyone, except to fulfill the terms of our service (ie. in the event of an emergency); to comply with the law or to protect the rights or safety of our members. 

Corrections and updating your personal and emergency information 

Using your username and password you can add, delete, update and review your personal and emergency information in the My Account page on our website http://www.soremialert.com by clicking on LOGIN under the Members section within the menu on the left of the site.

 

The only person able to change a member's information is the member 

Emergency personnel and services, good Samaritans and anyone with access to your membership card, username, IPIN and TPIN or mobile phone will only be able to access the information. Please note a member's account password and IPIN and TPIN are not the same: 

Password - members will provide a unique password for their account that would enable access to their My Account page to update their personal and emergency information. 

IPIN and TPIN - these are two sets of random number's that our system generates upon successful registration. These IPIN and TPIN give access to a member's emergency information in the event of an emergency. 

Cancellation of Membership 

You may cancel your SoremiAlert membership at any time by submitting a notice via email. 30 days notice shall be provided to Provider. Upon date of termination of service, Provider will terminate your account and delete your records. Provider is not responsible for keeping or maintaining your records upon termination of membership.Provider will make no refund of annual fees already paid. 

In addition, you release Provider from any and all responsibility and or liability due to the use, or lack thereof, of your account and records subsequent to termination, including emergencies. 

Upon cancellation of your SoremiAlert membership, you should immediately discard your membership card, delete any SoremiAlert software on your mobile or other means you may have that identify you as being an active member with SoremiAlert.

This web site contains links to other sites. Be aware that Provider is not responsible for the privacy practices on other web sites that may link to us. Upon leaving our site and entering a site that is linked to ours, we encourage you to review their privacy practices. Provider's privacy policy applies solely to our website. 

Cookies 

Provider uses Session Cookies only in order to protect your privacy. None of your personal information is collected or stored in a cookie while on our website. Session Cookies are used to allow users to update secure information about themselves to their record. The Session Cookie is stored in memory but does not persist when the user logs off. 

Security 

Provider takes every precaution to protect our user's information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. 

Supplementation of Information 

In order for Provider to properly fulfill its obligation to our customers, it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from 3rd party sources. 

Choice/Opt-out 

Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not. 

Notification of Changes 

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
